COMMENTARY: It's Desperation Time

we'll know this coming wk how good our run defense is.

Phil, great article. I agree with you on pretty much everything except for Allen. I think he probably gave up 50-60 yards and a lot of that was in zone coverage. Johnson was thrown to a lot, Allen broke up a bunch and made some great tackles, an amazing effort for the interception and a sack.

The only play you can blame him for is the TD, but that type of pass against a really quality receiver is very hard to defense.

If we stop the NE run game next week we will win.

Nice article Phil.I sure hope this was our "Cleveland game".Coach Saban had better given another "team changing speech" to our Phins in the locker room after this performance.

You're right; I didn't mean to single him out. Just seemed like he was getting beaten by Johnson a fair amount, but then, they were throwing to Johnson constantly, and Allen was winning plenty of those battles.

Good read...

BTW: I agree Larry Coker has to go, too.

LOL!
I'm just going to start working that into every article. Heck, if Coker was doing his job right, people wouldn't be as pissed about the Dolphins.

With what? An explosive offensive performance from Chris Chambers when we're down 28?

Culpepper is going to figure out he doesnt have 30 seconds to pick out a reciever.

Mularkeys going to realize that Ronnie Brown is a running back and not a Quarterback.

Our O-Line is going to learn the difference between run blocking and pass blocking.

Our Secondary is going to figure out that they are supposed to "cover" the opposing wide recievers.

Welkers going to run back every Kickoff after New England scores a TD giving us the win...

Sadly I think the last is the most likely to happen next week.
