Lots of people like the 2nd one since it includes wins and they can brag and feel good...
We have done one decade of the 2nd one...I'm sick of it.
i agree.
never in my lifetime have i wanted the dolphins to lose games for a better draft pick. NEVER. even during those awful years, i would always be pissed if we lost even when the season was over, because it hurt me when the fins lost, and their was not that one franchise changing player in any of those drafts that were locks.
However, this year , and maybe it is because i am getting a bit older, i am starting to realize what would be best for our fins. we have a qb coming out who is the most promising thing in years. in today's nfl, what wins games are great qb play. running game does not matter as much, and even fielding a truly great defense like back in the days such as the 85 bears, 2000 ravens, etc, is tough to do , due to the new rule changes that do not allow defenses to play defense.
we need a qb in the most desperate way in order to get the miami dolphins back to the glory days.
Now for the people that say, ''well i cant root against my dolphins''. totally understandable. I Myself am not going to sit their and root for the team to lose, but what i will not do this year as i have done in past years, is i will not be stressed about a loss, because i will look at any loss as a step closer to glory days.
obviously, all of us fans would love the team to go 12-4, and win the superbowl, but what is more likely than that, is a record of 4-12, 5-11, 6-10, and us missing out on the best god damn prospect in ages, and those records do not do anything but pad our win totals a tad. those records still suck.
so as a fan, all i am hoping, is if we are not playoff bound this year, which it seems like we are not, rather than finish 6-10 and get a 8th,9th pick which misses out on luck, do it the right away and suck for luck.
either luck or bust. plain and simple.
