Commentary: MLB Postseason Awards and Predictions

Sorry about the textual problems, guys. We'll try to fix that ASAP. If you just read the bolded stuff for now, you should be fine.

Great article as always man...

I do question Houston winning it all. I know they're the sexy pick this year with that pitching, but their offense is horrendous. I still believe St. Louis is the class of the NL, and am going to have to go with them. Although, if Florida was in, they would have been my pick to win it all.

Thank you for reading that amalgam of disgusting text...

Ugh, why do these things happen?

:chuckle:

GREAT article. Very well thought out, even if I don't agree on some of the picks (Manager of the Year in AL IMO should be Eric Wedge, the AL Cy Young Award winner I still think is going to Rivera, even though you have a very good arguement). I'm guessing you looked at the fielding % of each player to determine the Gold Gloves (Floyd and Green surprise me as GGers though). I especially liked your MVP picks (I might be biased but I'm glad someone other then a Red Sox fan pointed out that Arod wasn't the MVP of his team and therefore shouldn't get the overall MVP award).

I thought your pick of SD over St. Louis was surprising (you might be the only person in the U.S. who picks them) However I'm not sold on St. Louis so you very well could be right. I didn't enjoy your 85 more years Red Sox joke :fire: But I did laugh at it.

Overall like I said I really enjoyed the article. You obviously put in a lot of time and it shows. Hopefully some more people will put in their input on it too.

You should hide, how could you not give Manny Ramirez a gold glove, he had the most outfield assists in the AL (and possibly the NL)!

And we're back. Sorry for the delay. Thanks to TT and Muck for fixing the problems. And no thanks to all of my picks losing Game One. Geez...

...and Peavy's out for the playoffs...:fire:

So much for Friars in Five. Apparently he got hurt in their on-field celebration after winning the NL Worst. Makes me wonder if Tony LaRussa didn't sneak onto the field with a Padres jersey and give him a knee to the ribs.

Anyway, excellent article, though I think it'll be a White Sox/Cards World Series (to be fair, I thought that before yesterday).

That's because teams always run on him, he has a weak arm, and the short porch in Boston helps him get assists!

Floyd had more assists I believe
