The Commentary section is still recovering from this weekend's outage, so I'd like to present my latest edition of "Doctor's Notes" to you via my blog.

Check it out here.

Are dolphin fans really all that 'panicky'? I mean I read the Herald's pieces and you'd think the sky was falling. I may be in the minority but I actually have more confidence with what's going on then I have compared to recent seasons keeping those same dead beats and underperforming overpaid players. Some were productive but old, some the same but too expensive and some just sucked. Yet, we kept them, we played them and we've been losing.

I for one am ringing the party bell, tooting my horn in excitement and I am far from panicking. I'm surprised any one is panicking.

Well, keep in mind this was written yesterday as events were evolving. At the beginning of the day, there was a lot more panic in the air then there is, say ... *this* morning.

I just get confused reading that and the articles this morning about where the fins are going, their plan, and that we are just wildly releasing players but not really signing anyone. Not questioning your piece as much as the perception of the fans and how it's seen as panicking. Admittedly, I listen to talk radio or live in Miami so I an naive to the local vibe but honestly feel invigorated by what the FO is doing.

I believe there is still some concern about who will replace the offensive players we have let go. That said, there'll be a Joey Porter-sized halo over the organization today. :)

i'll reserve my judgement. rick speilman purged the roster, too.

Pete! I didn't see your post originally. I'm doing ok. I hope YOU'RE feeling well. Great to see you.

This is exactly what I feel! I'm looking forward to the season - and I hopefully I'll be part of it in London in October.
