COMMENTARY: Playoff Fever Has Gotten Out of Control

I hate jerks like this. If I want to be ridiculous about playoff speculation, what is the harm? Let me have my fun without hearing Mr. I-Like-Being-The-Party-Poopers out there saying there is something wrong with me because I don't want to be sad and sorry like them.

You have to know the "powers-that-be" (the Admins and Mods). :wink:

I don't think there is anything wrong with speculating about making the playoffs or "who we are going to draft," BUT you also have to take it with a heavy dose of reality....we are 3-6.

YES, we can still go 10-6, or maybe 9-7 and make the playoffs, but I think it is a little early to start saving up for you playoff tickets.

yea I read it. I guess this is a case where two people can read the same thing and get two different vibes.

I read this and got the vibe, there is no Santa Clause and not only is your mom the toothfairy, there is a good chance we are getting a divorce.
 
I'm with you Dupree. Come on! What's the harm is right? Man I have never seen a site with more rules and regs designed to make you not want to visit or post.
 
But even THIS is UNLIKELY.

It's simple, I'm willing to bet if we go 10-6 we go. If we go 9-7, several somebodies have to collapse.

I agree. Opinions are allowed here so we should all just accept everyone's opinion. Feel free to argue it, but don't challenge the other person's intelligence based off an opinion.

thanks for saying this early in the piece so i didn't have to waste any more time reading the rest of it. mularkey's head is as far up his arse as it's ever been. check the tape. check the stats. then thank the defense for wins over the bears and chiefs.

There should only be one playoff thread, and there are several. So, yeah, it is a little out of control.

But it's fun figuring out all the angles and possibilities. And it blows my mind that we still have a shot at the playoffs after going 1-6. It may be unlikely, but it's still possible. And it gives me something to root for.
