Commentary: Surviving the Meat-Grinder

I was planning on posting this over the weekend, so I apologize for it being a day late, but here's my latest column.

It's a look at the Dolphins schedule with comparison to some teams who've faced similar ones over the past two years. Enjoy.

I'll agree that the dolphins, with the heat and humidity, have one of the toughest workouts. Another team that has the potential is the broncos, but only because of the altitude. I know that when I used to live there I would run a 14 minute 2 mile and when I moved to Washington I immediately dropped 2 minutes with out even trying. Futhermore one of the olympic training camps is in Colorado Springs, less than 2 hours away.

I know I know a few years ago the dolphins opened up with the broncos coming to Miami and the Broncos conditioning was horrendous and that is why I said potential.
