Commentary: The Night Before Christmas

Twas the day before Christmas and throughout the globe,
Fin Fans were preparing for game day, in their abodes...

One of them was flying, from Guam to Tokyo,
to rejoin family for the holidays, much closer to snow...

Anyone care to continue it?
 
I would like to finish, but I can't rhyme So I'll stay away before I go blind!

Last year was the first time I wrote a "Night Before Christmas" poem, so I'm kind of hoping to make it an annual tradition...or at least as long as Coach Nick is here (which, hopefully, will be for a very long time).

Phunwin was nestled, all snug in his chair
While visions of vacation danced in the air
Sitting in the office, in a coat and a tie
Watching the clock ever so slowly tick by

And Silverphin was sitting, thinking about his next 'Owned!' segment
And hoped the next game was a blowout, so he could give the award in a mere second
He also has plans of going to FAU as a free safety
Hoping that he'd be part of a 'Phins roster that brought SB rings back to Miami
 
Dammit, Phil ... I had the idea this morning to do a similar parody. I think I still will, as mine takes a slightly different tack.

Nice work by the way.
