Can us Dol-Fans have it?

We have the habit of thinking we know enough on Draft Day to truly say a certain draft pick is good or not based on what we read, what we see, and what we hear..

The fact remains there is a REASON why we are fans and why people like Randy Mueller and Cam Cameron have the jobs they have.. No matter what "EXPERTS" tell us, we will never come close to having the same information Cameron/Mueller will have to make the best decision possible on a player.. Have we ever met the player? Actually talked to the human being? Known his personality? How he handles adversity?

I know we want what's best for the team because at the end of the day, we are fans, but we need to have some common sense and place our trust on draft day in the true "EXPERTS" getting paid millions to make these decisions based on their experience, instead of trusting ourselves and what we hear...

If these analysts are so called "EXPERTS?" I ask you then why do they not have the same job GM's do?

Let's have some common sense...

Cam and Randy are looking for PLAYMAKERS. Instant points. I like it.

Saban drafted for the future and projects. I much prefer playmakers.

Finally a post that make sense to me. Here are some facts as I see it:

I am not an expert!

For any expert's opinion on a player, there is another expert's opinion that is different.

Muller/Cam are reforming our offensive unit. Some mediocre players, some starters that we liked are no longer with the team.

Cam is our first HC with offensive expertese. He will be our OC. He wants his type of players.

Several so called experts have ranked the Brady, Edwards, Stanton & Beck about equal.

They could have gotten Ginn towards the end of the 1st round. We don't know if there were any partners to trade down with. Ginn would have been an early 1st roud pick if not injure (Healing OK).

If the 4 QBs were about equal, and Cam/Muller wanted both Ginn and a QB,
they had two options:

Pick a QB and trade up from second to pick Ginn(expensive as far as draft picks - see how much Clevland gave up to get back to 1st round).

Pick Ginn (lower than 9th if there is a trade partner) and pick a QB in the second round (and hope that the QB that you want is there).

Cam/Muller worked out both Quinn and Beck. Our QB coach was tutoring Quinn for NFL scouting combine. They decided that Beck is a better fit than Quinn. They wanted both Ginn & Beck and got them both.
