I'm trying to find complete game stats of when RT played the Jets as QB this year and the when MM played as QB this year but I keep getting partial stats. Can anyone find full game stats for both?

Our passing game wasn't a world beater in the first Jets game, they did not have to be, Ajayi was the work horse. We had to get aggressive in the pass game tonight because the running game was going nowhere.

First game:

Tannehill - 17/28 for 149 yards and 1 TD. QBR 86.8

Second game:

Moore - 12/18 for 236 yards and 4 TD with 1 INT. QBR 126.2

Can we stop trying to beat down our starter with one game results from our journeyman career backup?....Ignoring his career numbers.

Can't this fanbase just enjoy winning for a change and supporting whoever is currently starting?

I trust Gase will always start the better QB....so why constantly try to beat one down?

QB Stats are overblown to begin with. Tanny put up the best stats of his career under Lazor in 2014, but this year, with lesser stats, is clearly the best year of his career and the way he played the position fully reflects the Fins record this season.

Brief look at career numbers:
Tannehill-86.5 rating, 106 TD, 66 INT
Moore-81.3 rating, 37 TD, 29 INT

Moore's stats look good from last night and he played well but he had two 1 yard td passes because we couldnt get one yard on 4 plays cause our center and rg cant run block. Mix that in with the like 70 yard run after catch by landry and his numbers get pretty inflated due to three plays. Glad Moore is playing well but there is no competition when RT is healthy.

Did you watch the Houston game from last year?

18/19 282 yards and 4 TDs with 0 INTs . . . QBR 158.3 . . . the guys longest pass in the air was like 5 yards. You can't cherry pick stats. They tend to work themselves out over the course of a season . . . where you have unlucky INTs and you have ones that deserved to be picked but were dropped.

Moore had 2 great passes to the 1 yard line, probably deserved scores on them and he ended up getting them on 1 yard passes. Moore had a good night.

Look, I want Moore to find a zone he's obviously never reached....or he would have been a starter.

I want this because I want my team to win....I just don't see the need to over-react to one game and pretend that suddenly Matt Moore is superior to Ryan Tannehill.

If Matt Moore has had a metamorphisis...we'll find out over the course of the next month....until then stop the attempts to bash Tannehill and lets enjoy the moment.

While i dont care for RT, i think less is more with him. But who care we are winning.

Ryan is the starter and can do more things to help this team win. He is MUCH safer with the ball and won't make a lot of mistakes. But Matt is a great backup and had a great game. ACTUALLY Matt now leads the league in QB rating for QBs with at least one start this season. Lets be happy for Matt, for the dolphins, and for a fanbase that deserves a chance going into Christmas. WOW how nice is that?

But lets be honest. Does anyone really think that a good coaching staff with some tape on Matt, that is preparing for a playoff type game, is going to have trouble confusing Matt? Take away our running game and make Matt beat you and our defense and STs will have to put up some points or we are in trouble. The Bills are playing for their playoff lives. We are going to Buffalo and playing Rex who does a better job confusing QBs than about anyone. Let Matt put up the kind of numbers he had today next week then we might have a discussion about how good Matt is. Until then let's just cheer for the dolphins, Matt, and all the other players and be happy we seem to be headed in the right direction.

Matt will have his hands full @ Buffalo next week . . . but lets not pretend that it was a given that Ryan Tannehill wouldn't have his own issues next week vs. the Bills. Teams have game planned for Ryan for 5 years and just recently he has shown the ability to overcome that.

I think it is unfortunate because Ryan performing well during this final stretch of division games would of gone a long way in shutting up the nonsense about him. Guy is a legit starter in this league with the talent/coaching available to him to be more than that.

We had a running game last night? The Jets obviously planned to take away the running game and force Moore to beat them with the all out blitzes, how did that work out?

IDK... I was at the game last night and excited to see Matt play. I have always liked him so I was looking forward to see what he could do. I felt like the majority of his passes were floaters that could have been picked off. If he continues to play like that after teams have some tape on him he is going to get picked left and right. Im hoping that he is just rusty and will improve next week. With that said I don't see this offence winning us a playoff game. Its all on the Defence! It was so much fun watching our denfence play last night!! The fins took over the game in the 3rd and the fins fan took over the stadium. I have never had some much fun at a game!!!! Go Fins!!!!!!!!!!!!

stats don't tell all, RT kept us in that first game. we should have been blown out and you needed a KR TD to beat a bad Jet team. the other night we just got smoked thanks in large part to the QB taking advantage of our awful D.
