Complete Dolphins Draft History - Every Player Ranked

pretty shabby...
JAmar Taylor - few plays, Dallas Thomas - inactive , Dion Sims - 1 Td -1 catch, blocking a few plays. Jenkins -a few tackles - Gillessi (rb) inactive, will Davis Inactive
Lamar Miller - exciting player, need to get the ball 15-20 x a game. he is the "starter" but don't get reps like one.
Egnew -a few plays this year -needs to be split out more he was good College player.
Daniel Thomas - 2nd round bust so far - fumbles, limited production, play him or cut him.

Ireland has picked a few quality players -
Jordan - Hartline - Jones - Clemons - Long (gone)- V-davis (traded) - Pouncey (lock him up).
not a great GM, not a winning season since 2008- not many stat players or Probowl players.
still have OL issues after drafting many in the 1st - 2nd and 3rd rounds.
Qb - is set but he still needs time to grow, he needs to have more protection, not sure why they don't do more 3wr -1 TE -1rb sets and keep the extra pass blocker in, or why they stop running the ball.
the D --
DL should be a top unit - has ups and downs - would like to she more ov a hybrid look - Get Odrick, Soliai and Starks on field -
Lb -I miss Dansby - he played hurt, led the D -- Ellerbe seems soft so far, Wheeler is fast but gives up plays. Misi is solid.
CB -- Where are the DB's we drafted? Sean Smith 2nd round, Davis 1st rounder - Gone in 3yrs, now we have 2 rookies who don't play? Grimes is a one year rental - and the best DB we have.
Wilson is poor, Carrol is a dime CB - but he covers Reggie Wayne?? Julio Jones? lol not good.
SS - FS - Clemons and Jones - solid - Clemons should be locked up long term - could have had Earl Thomas but the took Ordick instead.

not the best drafts have hurt, then poor job growing the talent.

Brutal. Just brutal.

2000-2009
All Pro players: 1 (Jake Long)
Pro Bowlers: 6 (Long, Chambers, R. Brown, Y. Bell, Wade Smith, Paul Soliai)

2010-2013
All Pro players: 0
Pro Bowlers: 0

However, to be fair, if you compare the team's overall draft rating (by this site's criteria) between the span of 2000-2009 and 2010-2013, the overall ranking jumps from 29th to 11th.

So yeah, Wanny, Saban, and Mueller were even worse. And that's why this team has been crap for over a decade.
