Anyone have an idea of tannehills completion percentage for throws 20yds or more? I'm pretty sure it's a high number

The "No-Long-Ball" crowd can only provide you with the bad side of those statistics I would imagine and I'm not sure what they are but would have to agree with your thinking.

I mean, yesterday it seemed like half of his passes were at least 13-14 yards plus...

Lets talk about why. The offensive line held up. They made one personnel change. But it was the mindset.

I ask can Campbell get the most out of this team every week? The talent is there, now it is motivation.

That pass to Still was a thing of beauty.

I will be pumped up for the Texans game that is for sure

2 if you count Albert coming back which you should he's a beast. But no doubt running the ball helped tremendously

According to ProFootballReference.com he was 2 for 4 on deep throws. His missed his earlier attempts in the game but came through in the 4th quarter with consecutive deep completions to Stiils and then Mathews on the next play. The 2 plays led to the 97 yard TD drive that put the game away. That is what I have been saying we have needed. You really have to make some deep throws in the 4th quarter to put up points, finish games and win. Props to Ryan for coming through in the 4th.

Blasphemy lol.

Here is another important question. Other than the tipped ball by Cameron (should have been a PI call), were there any dropped passes? I don't recall any drive killing drops.

all i am going to say in this thread is: Tanny had time, blocking in front of him... and PLAY ACTION with a good running game going!!!

I believe in Ryan Tannehill but we've rarely seen him hit an in stride deep pass. That's why that Stills pass stood out so much. It was absolutely perfect. I really hope we so more it it.

Well, not to continue to sing the same old O-line song, but is it not a coincidence that there was better pass-blocking yesterday, and Ryan was able to make a perfect in-stride deep pass.

Not saying that the O-line is totally responsible with some of the deep passes Ryan has missed, but when your seeing a pass-rush coming to take your head off the moment you hike the ball, Ryan might have been rushing some deep passes, while yesterday Ryan was able to trust his line, and make a perfect pass deep.

That's right and I have to admit while the ball was in the air I was thinking "a wasted down".
