They have us taking the following three rounds:

Rd 1 #3: Brian Brohm, Qb (Louisville)
Rd 2 #3: Reggie Nelson, S (Florida)
Rd 3 #3: Chase Pittman, De (LSU)

Isn't that too high for Brian Brohm
 
I would love that draft, but don't see us taking a QB that high, nor do I think we should.
 
why would we take brohm over calvin johnson, and why in the hell would we pass up on meriweather if he was available in the second round?
 
If we're picking #3 and we pass on an available Calvin Johnson. I'll be ticked, especially if we take a QB instead.

I can't see us taking another QB at this point....at least not in the 2007 first round...we need O-lineman and other needs before a QB. :shakeno:
 
Umm

I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but we likely won't even be picking in the top 10. At a minimum I would guess that we would finish 8-8 or possibly 9-7. A worst case would be 7-9. Personally, I'd like to see us get Levi Brown in the first round and pick up another QB in the second or even 3rd round if at all. Could roll the dice that Pep will be healthy and if he's not Joey with the experience in the system that he has under his belt will be fine in which case we could just focus on injecting some Youth at Linebacker postion, maybe draft a corner, and most importantly a left tackle. Who knows, we shall see...
 
And heres another bubble buster. The Offensive cord (Suckalot murlarkey) will not be here next year. Maybe Oakland gets him as thier head coach. So I'm saying that More than likley it will be a new system and joey or C-pep will have too learn a new system plus any other qb that we draft or sign.:dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins:
 
wuts the deal with nelson. as a noles fan i dont watch uf much but when i do #1 always stands out. why isnt he a first rounder, is he a better prospect than merriweather aside from character issues??

I can't imagine him not being a better prospect than Merriweather. He's going to be first team All-SEC (w/ Landry) and first or second team All-American in my opinion. That being said, I do not think he comes out this year. He had trouble qualifying for UF and had to go to a junior college to get his grades up. Get this - he redshirted at junior college so he could have 3 years to play at UF. If he went to that much trouble to retain an extra year of eligibility, I doubt he goes pro.

It would tick me off as well. I want Tedd Ginn Jr at around pick 10-13... but he probably most likely goes defense and drafts an OLB/DE or CB and if he goes offense he probably goes LT or WR.

But QB??? Nah, maybe in the 2nd day and we drop Joey Harrington.
