As of right now I say:
1. SEC (Clearly Florida and Bama are the 2 best teams in the country . . . Bama has the most young talent and Florida has the most experience, and right there with Bama in young talent. Doesn't hurt when you also have LSU, Miss, SC, UGA and other solid teams.)
2. Big 12 - Texas #2 in the country and Oklahoma has 2 losses by 1 point w/o their Heisman trophy winner. Also fairly deep with TTU, TA&M, Mizzou, OKST, Nebraska and Kansas.
3. ACC - All the bashing these guys take and honestly they have 2 of the 4 most impressive teams I have seen this season. Arguably, UM and VT have had the 2 toughest schedules so far this season (shout out to Oregon as well). Ga Tech is a nightmare matchup for even the best teams with that triple option. Would be ranked 2nd, but they are just not deep enough.
4. Big 10 - Boy I wanted to put the Pac-10 here, but really with Cal's demise, they have nobody outside of USC and Oregon. I mean they have some teams I like to watch in Oregon and Washington but they aren't special. The Big 10 has Ohio State, Iowa and Penn State, and even though USC came to Columbus and beast OSU, I still think the Big 10 is the better conference. Michigan is on the comeback trail also.
5. Pac-10 - USC and Oregon are the class of this conference, but this conference is very suspect after those 2.
6. Big East - They just don't play anybody. There big hope IMO is USF. If they can beat Cincy this week and beat Miami at the end of the season . . . and go undefeated somehow . . . that can make a name for this conference, other than that, they are the bottom feeders. Cincy won't be an easy game, they are very talented on offense.
7. WAC - I still think USF or Cincy would beat anybody in this conference, which makes me put the WAC below the BIG East. Hey it's my opinion.
