I don't if either of them will work out, but as far as confidence, I have none.
We still get blown out on defense, Tannehill still has those weird games like Cincy, where several wtf moments occur, and Gase sees a certain offense in his head that never seems to translate to the field.
I have confidence in neither at this point. Gase has shown a trend for slow starts, piss poor third down conversion rates and godawful preparedness. Lack of player development is also on the list.
I'm not confident in Tannehill's health. Until I see him throw live, that is my position on him.
Gase is too busy playing OC (and a lousy one at that) and not being a HC so “no”, no confidence. And we need to find a great QB somehow. Only way this organization will look / function as if it’s competent.
I honestly dont know if even Gase knows what hes looking for in HIS quarterback. He didnt hand pick any of the QBs in Denver or Chicago. And hes stuck with those guys here other than Tannehill (who he also didnt "hand pick")
