If you are confident enough that our squad will out perform the national predictions of doom, why not lay your money down against the odds in Vegas?

Has the thought crossed your mind?

Easy money I say. I believe! Go Dolphins!!

I'm a gambling degenerate. Especially during the football season. Constantly betting college and pros.

Cardinal rule of gambling: Do not bet for or against your teams. Too much emotion involved. Bet with your brain and not your heart.

Was going to type the exact same thing.

7.5 is surprisingly high, considering a) most "experts" have us finishing last, b) we don't have a true starting QB, c) we don't have a true #1 receiver (or #2 for that matter),and d) new coaches/system. To be honest, I'd be happy with an 8 win season in year 1 of the Philbin era.

Now, if the over/under was @ 5.5 like the rams, i'd be all over that, but 7.5, nah, too close to call.

I've lost too much money on the fins :boohoo:

If you bet on them, you will be twice as angry when they lose. If you bet against them, they will shock the world and win. RULE #1 OF BETTING- STAY AWAY FROM THE DOLPHINS

I used to bet each and every year before the season started.. nuff said!

OFF TOPIC!

Crazy thing is that I attendent a GA room at one low point in my life. The good news is that I have being without a single relapse for over nine years now. I live for the moment, and I understand (and totally accept)) that I will die a gambler, regardless.

going to be in vegas this week for the World Series of Poker... will not be placing any bets on the Fins. Best way to lose money is to bet on your own team one way or the other.
with the being said.... wouldn't lay down any money on over 7.5 wins

I'm going to be starting a thread this season to make a finheaven members that gamble lots of money this season. I have develop a set of algorithms calculations for making money in all sports. If interested in MLB, CFL, WNBA or AFL let me know, wagering is currently going on right now. But I will be offering my NFL, NCAA-F, NHL and NBA season for members of this forum for free. So I will let you know when to and when to not bet on the Dolphins..

You might want to change you qoute "We are still going to the SB" if you want any bettors to take your advice as credible.
