Just a thought. The Titans had no footage to game plan against with Dan Campbell at the Helm tendency wise ect.. With that being said I feel like that was a huge factor in our win against the Titans. The Texans will be in the same boat as long as the players show up for us again. " I feel like we will finally beat the Texans" so anyways to my point. How many games, with the talent we have and actually having a Coach that will utilize our Tight ends which are above average on any day, can we win this season. I'm actually optimistic that we have the tools to push the Patriots from now on. The last time we ever used our Tight ends in game planning "Seriously" used them was Dave Wandstat. We have a legitimate shot at making a run or am I seriously drinking too much Koolaid this week?

there was 4 weeks of film the titans could have used. Miami didn't do anything different. their biggest difference was during the week at practice, and then executing on sunday. they were efficient at running the ball, finally. and the oline was blocking better. basically the dolphins won in the trenches.

At least I didn't see anything different against the titans, except execution of plays I've already seen from lazors offense.

OP has a point here though. We ran the ball more times than we passed it. A total change in game plan from prior games this season.

Although to the Titans detriment, they didn't realize that the change of Billy Turner at the guard position was Campbell's tip of the hat that there would be more running.

I do think the "on film" thing in this case is a bit overblown. The biggest change was in the physicality that we inflicted. You can scheme all you want but if one team out muscles the other in the trenches the more physical team usually wins. I expect us to beat a Houston team that isn't very good. Yeah, I know we are 2-3 but if both teams put their best effort out there we should win.

Five of the first eight plays were runs. They played a lot of double TE sets and I didn't get a count but Tannehill under center more this game than any other game I can remember since Lazor has been here. I defense also didn't play off the ball as much. There were many times they had 9-11 players within 5 yards of the LOS.

Yes execution was better, but Miami played on their toes, they attacked, there was no read and react on defense or offense they imposed their will on the Titans.
