WR MARTY BOOKER
. . .

•
Enters 2006 having played in 99 league
games. With his next one he would attain
the 100-games played plateau.

And Also Olindo Mare...

K OLINDO MARE
. . .

•
Enters 2006 with 13 career field goals of 50
yards or longer during the regular season.
With his next one from this distance, he
would tie Pete Stoyanovich (14) for the most
in Dolphins history.

Wow, I thought Mare already had over 15 field goals on 50+ yards.

:fire: @ Pete Stoyonovich...He was good, but always seemed to miss when we needed him most

I'll never forget that "laces out" game against San Diego. I don't remember if it was the championship game or divisional playoff but it was right after Ace Ventura came out.

Divisional game, and San Diego eventually went to the Super Bowl. We had a 21-6 halftime lead that game...never should have lost. SD beat Pitt at Pitt the next week, then got flamed by San Fran in the Bowl. We would have beaten Pitt that year I think.

I remember that game all too well... There were several bad calls in that game...

1 was a touchdown by SD where the receiver was out of the back of the end zone. No replay...

2 was a safety that was called in which the ball was clearly on the goal line.

Those 2 calls sealed the win for SD... MAN was I hot!!!:fire:

I thought Ace Ventura came out AFTER the "laces out" game ... you might have meant that but you certainly typed it wrong lol...just makin sure you know...
