Congrats to the Dolphins. It's great to beat the team that just beat the Patriots last week. How bout that Oline? Zero sacks allowed!

how many sacks have we allowed this season??????? 1-2???


Bills lost.....Jets look like their gonna lose......hopefully Pittsburgh will beat down the Patriots and we will be in 1st!!! Then prepare for.....Tampa Bay??
 
Awesome win. I really didn't think we would beat this team because Carolina can always score. I pegged them for 24, as I posted specifically last Sunday night, and that looked like too much of a hurdle. We still need more production out of Gus who was at 5.2 yards per attempt and that won't cut it. Terrific game by Ronnie Brown, and also the coaching staff who had the insight to keep feeding him the ball even after the yards per carry dipped. The penalties are still puzzling in their frequency. I hope the defense isn't criticized unduly. That opponent is a downfield passing machine and you're not going to shut them down like the typical foe.

I don't know if this has been said or not today, but I live in the mountains of NC and our local stations come from Charlotte so I've watched and heard a lot about the Panthers, but Foxy thru everything he had at us, both offensively and defensively that he could...My hats off to the OL for being able to, for the most part, control Peppers and the rest of that DL....


On the negative side...we really had most of the same issues this week as last...what would a Fins game be like if Gus could throw the ball on target and we don't have ridiculous penalties ??
 
One more game to first place. If Pitt can pull the game out against NE we will be in first since..................................well it's been to damn long!!!
