Congrats to former fins

Rooting for Ricky to get a ring. Teddy is the same guy he has always been, and I hate the 49ers so **** them too.
 
I will always miss the Lemon-Peele connection we used to have that was nearly unstoppable.

We didn't give him up. He was a Restricted Free Agent and the Patriots put a poison pill in their contract. After our front office raised hell, the commissioner stepped in and forced a trade, with the Patriots throwing in an extra low-round pick. It was a half-*ssed attempted to smooth over the situation. Pretty much, the Pats stole him from us...

Well we had idiots running our franchise..never should have tendered him that low. And it was the owners that stepped in. Was dumb imo should have just taken the second and hope that pats had to pay him guaranteed money. He will be a fa but I doubt pats let him walk. To me it looks like they are gonna win the super bowl and I am sure he will take a home town discount to stay.

Well we did tender him with a second round pick. That was our mistake trying to keep his pay lower in compensation. Nothing though is more suprising of how good Welker has become. One of the best players in the league at his position and people still say its all Brady even though he put up great numbers with Cassel and no player has ever put up these kind of numbers over the amount of years he has done it. 4 seasons over 100 receptions 2 seasons over 120 receptions. mind boggling how good he has become. I cant fault us for trading him but we did tender him too low. He has the same amount of receptions that our own Mark clayton had in his entire career. He will probably end up a hall of famer and is right on terrel owens heels as the 25th leading receiver of all time.He will easily crack the top 20 next year
