He was selected as one of the most influential minorities in sports.(Sports Illustrated issue June 28,2004)...Troy joins the likes of illuminaries as Shaquille O'neal, Tiger Woods, Barry Bonds and Serena Williams... The five time All-Pro was recently elected president of the NFL Players Association, which makes him a key player for powerful union head Gene Upshaw... Even though Troy is now apart of ouir vaunted rival (Buffalo Bills), he is still a testament for us all as a former Dolphin.

He may not be Madison or Surtain, but he was still one heck of a DB(on the field) and person(in life).
