Dolphins Predicted to Sign Aaron Rodgers

Story by Jon Conahan

Tua Tagovailoa is perhaps the most confusing quarterback in the NFL, which puts the Miami Dolphins in a tough situation.

However, when the 27-year-old is healthy and at his best, he's proven to be an above-average NFL quarterback, perhaps even Elite.

The issue, however, is that Tagovailoa has dealt with so many injuries that it's almost tough to get a real assessment of the player he is.

Is he constantly on the injured list, or is he somebody the Dolphins can trust moving forward?

Because of the injuries he's dealt with, the Dolphins have heard all the rumors around the league about potentially signing a different quarterback.

However, after giving him a four-year, $212 million deal with $161.2 million in guaranteed money, the Dolphins aren't exactly in a position to find a different quarterback.

Despite that, Bleacher Report's Mitchel Milani put out a prediction that would cause some confusion at the quarterback position, but it might not be that expensive.

He predicted that the Dolphins would sign quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who remains on the free agency market, despite being heavily linked to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“Tua Tagovailoa is the most injured and frequently unreliable quarterback in football Aaron Rodgers could fill in and ride with Tyreek Hill and Jalen waddle and retire in Florida,” he said.

Rodgers playing for the Dolphins would be a bit interesting at this stage of his career, and it might not make too much sense.

However, if he doesn't sign with a team and Tagovailoa goes down early in the year again, the Dolphins signing him would be a wise decision.

Until then, however, this shouldn't be much of a conversation.

I'm now going to sue Bleacher Report for murdering a large chunk of my brain cells with that absolute stupidity.

Some may remember that I recently said I hate these 'prediction' offseason clickbait articles. This one is Exhibit A.

Pat yourself on the back.
Now, be prepared to control yourself if this happens. - LOL

Rodgers would never, ever sign with Miami. He recently lost a season due to injury, so at this point in his career, I highly doubt that he would want to play for a team that is known for having o-line issues every single year.
