3 championships in 7 years! I was a fan for a while but i've felt like i've jumped the bandwagon...my fav team is now the bobcats

Go Cats! :D

The NBA needs to start taking FG% into considerations with these awards. Duncan shot like sh-t the entire series, including his 10/27 effort tonight.

I think Robert Horry should have gotten the award. He saved their bacon several times this series.

Congrats to the Spurs.

I think manu should of not just for his finals preformance but for the whole playoffs...he was simply brilliant

I thought most of the games in this series sucked, and I dont like either team, but Im glad the Spurs won

Should of been the bobcats and the hawks...pshh

j/k

Congrats, Spurs. You definitely earned it.

I think Duncan won the MVP more by default than anything. His FG% sucked, but his offensive rebounding was tremendous last night and his defense was very good too.

Congrats Spurs on being the champs!

Now lets just hope that my Rockets can be the champs next year.

I dont see why Horry couldn't have been named MVP, there were no clearly dominate players thoughout the series, why not the guy that actually won a game (5) by himself and kept the Spurs even in the first quarter in game 7?? i personally would've voted Horry but can't really complain about Duncan winning it though

Because Horry had one great game and one good one. In a 7 game series, that's not enough.

Ask yourself this: how many games do the Spurs win without Horry? Three. They lose game 5, but they win the rest. How many do they win without Tim Duncan? One at most. You could argue that they win game 2 without him, I suppose, since he didn't do much and they ran Detroit out of the building anyway.

Ok heres another one for you without Tim Duncan they win more than 1 game...probobly 2-3 games! But without Manu Ginoboli [Tim even knows that this kid is a monster] then they only win 2-3 games as well...There a great team but an amazing team with Manu Ginoboli [The Guy Deserves Credit!]

Apart from game 2, what game would they have won without Duncan? And don't say game 5, because even though Duncan choked down the stretch, he still had something like 20 and 15 before the fourth quarter. They don't win without that.

Manu disappeared more than Duncan did the series.
