Connor Cook Intends to Return to Michigan State

I'm not a fan. I see him as someone you would take 64-75. Maybe later. But I think he declares. He's jut giving the PC answer now. The advisory board will give him a 1st round projection.
 
As a Michigan fan I hate to see him come back. As a Dolphin fan, that could put him in play if they move on from Tannehill. I think there is little doubt that Tannehill is your 2015 starter.
 
I don't think Connor Cook will be a superior NFL QB to RT17 unless he makes serious improvement going back to school.

Did not say he was an improvement over RT or not, but I do think he will be a legit NFL starter.
 
Cook is a very good prospect that still often has reverted to some really dumb decisions. May not be a bad idea to get a bit more consistency
 
As a Sparty fan, I'll say that I think he should stick around one more year. He still runs hot and cold and he needs to get more consistent with his footwork before I'd consider him to be 1st round worthy. He put in a lot of work this offseason, and I'd be surprised if he didn't follow that up with a similar regiment this year. I hope that helps take his game to the next level in '15.
 
I see a lot of similarities with Mallett coming out, in terms of a QB with a live arm who can process the field quickly, but who maybe overestimates his ability and takes a few too many chances.

Cook seems to have a far better character than Mallett and I would guess will be the better pro. Personally I think he has al the goods. You don't get guys every season who can work their progressions and make quick decisions like Cook. He just needs to temper his enthusiasm a little - which is a lot easier than trying to get a QB who can't read the field and take a shot to up his game.
 
No reason for him to stay in school. Top ten pick. Supply and demand, gentleman.
 
He is inconsistent, but tell me the Jets or Rams would not draft in the 1st round?
 
Inconsistent bowl game, but a leader when it came down to it. He probably could use the extra year, but he'd be picked in the first 2 rounds this year.
