I have HAD IT with all those "sign him, trade for him" threads...

We can't just change our whole 53 roster, salary cap makes it impossible, but mostly, we need to build a team, and to do so, you need to retain your players and add a few, not a bunch, a FEW.

Now that Carey, bell, crowder have been signed, people are pitching ideas, rumors and scenarios that bears the impossible. What exactly did we do to make some think that we'll splash in the free agency ? there's no big splash at all. The fins signed a CFL player and gibril wilson... that's IT

the key is retaining guys, and that's why we're working on goodman right now... ( hill might not be so lucky... with wilson in the picture)

Changing your staff is going to bring you nothing but trouble, just ask saban or wannstedt (cameron was here one year, he was bad, but he didn't have a 2-3 year time-span to put in place what he had in mind, and i'm kinda happy lol )

Bringing guys from all over the country is not a way to build a franchise, **** it !
You retain your players and you have good drafts year in and year out, you'll win a superbowl. Who did the steelers signed last year ? who did the giants signed the year before? who did the colts sign before ? get it ?

The fins are doing the right thing, investing in their quality players, building a team chemistry, adding a piece to the puzzle in wilson and then they'll get better in the draft...

Contest the non-sense, they're doing it right for once ( in like 6 years ?) , don't go hoping they **** up like saban/wannstedt did

remember people jsut having fun with this man.... i understand it gets annoying.... but allow people to enjoy.

i mad pumped too.... i looking for Coles in FA, and Goodman before FA.... dont get mad on that please!!!

That's the smartest thread anyone has posted yet. Keep your OWN players unless they just absolutely suck. Coach them up and let them develop the chemistry for a championship team. Amen brother! I feel ya.

i'm not mad, don't get me wrong... i just don't want people to be disapointed when they see we don't explode in 9 minutes ( free agency, lol )

but i understand that after 10 years of seeing your team get re-shuffled like a card deck year in and year out, some got used to it and see it as a normal thing. But it ain't !

gotcha i know whatcha meen!!!

i am loving all thats been done already... so shocked that Carey, Bell, and Crowder all turned around and signed... so awesome of them!!!!

What I like is that the coaches are seeing the exact same things that die hard fans are seeing. R. Hill was the weakest link out of our FA and I'm glad they're letting him walk. He sucks. I think if they sign Goody then Allen may be our weakest link in a very strong secondary. That will lock up almost every position except C, LB, NT and WR. We're going to field a pretty darn good team.

Thats what the pats seem to do every year.. seems to work out for them pretty well...

If you don't like a certain type of thread, don't read them.

Look, the trifecta has been very clear and open about this issue, they want their own guys. They want hand picked guys who fit their style of play.

They told the world in advance what they were going to do and then they went out and did it last offseason. I think they broke a record or something for turnover of personnel.

Anyway, they have also been quite clear in saying it aint over yet neither.

So get used it. It may be another very active offseason.

there is "washington redskins" active, or "miami dolphins of the past" active... then ,there is "parcells and ireland" active, totally different my friend

Bro....I understand your sentiment, but when was the last time we had a roster this FULL of young/up-and-coming talent? I think people are just excited we have a competent FO that's willing to bring in the right people at the right prices. They won't stop there, though. BP and company are going to continue to add quality pieces until this team is a perennial Superbowl contender.

And they're doing it the right way! Start at the OL and move out...rebuild what has been our most glaring weakness in years: the secondary...avoiding the "me-first" big names just for the sake of satisfying our whims!

Sure some people may have some great ideas (bringing in a quality CB)....and others the most ridiculous ideas you've ever heard (trade for TJ, bring in a TO), but I just think it's because we all know we're on the verge of greatness here! If it weren't for the Trifecta, none of this would be possible and no one would be getting excited about this team again.

I tell you what....I'd rather deal with the ridiculous ideas every once in a while, than listen to 95% of the fans on here say how much this team blows or how the front office is a bunch of idiots day in and day out after continuous losing seasons. And I guarantee that would have happened had we not brought in BP and continue to let Cam run the show!

You can put it anyway you want to but when this group took over last year the Dolphins signed a bunch of FA's and made a bunch of trades.

Nearly half the roster was changed.

They traded for Fergusson

They traded Booker to Philly

They traded Travis Daniels to Cleveland

They traded for Fasano and Ayodele

All of last years draft picks made the roster including URFA Bess.

They continued throughout last season cutting players and adding players.

Alleman,Mcheshey,Frye,Walden,Crocker,Joey Thomas

There was way too many changes to even remember.

Saying that the Trifecta is ultra conservative and only tweaks their roster a little bit each year is absurd.
