"Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher even came through untouched late in the first quarter and drove Feeley to the ground. The quarterback sustained a contusion of the buttocks, and coach Nick Saban said Feeley also injured an ankle on the play."

This is EXACTLY why I can't handle FEELEY as our QB. The man is made of glass. Everyone who cites his "toughness" makes me laugh because true toughness is being able to resist injury as well as bouncing back from it.

Feeley gets hurt by ANY contact and now, to add insult to injury, the guy has a broken a$$.

A BROKEN A$$!!

Did DAN MARINO EVER GET A CONTUSION OF THE BUTTOCKS? ELWAY? MONTANA? YOUNG? FARVRE? BRADY?

Crap, even FIEDLER never broke his A$$ and he broke plenty of bones trying to help our team win.

All I'm saying is that this guy is YOUNG and he's fragile. In a few years he'll be on a respirator. Football is a contact sport. Feeley may be an athlete, but he's no football player and CERTAINLY no quarterback.

Go PHINS!!

:yell:

maybe he just has a soft a$$. if we had an o-line worth half a ****, he might still be butt-pain free!

You have it all wrong...He is tough , he was going to come back to the game but he had a shoe malfunction. He couldn't put his shoe on.

Jason White just retired after taking a hit in TC ...That's a glasshouse.

last year in the san francisco game i believe he hit his hand throwing the ball on a defender's helmet which dislocated his finger on his right hand. it was gruesome to see and a coach snapped it back in place and on the next play feeley throws about a 25 yard touchdown. he didn't leave the game for a play, he just relocated his finger and threw a strike. that impressed me. but gus impressed me more in the bears game. probably because feeley did not get the time he wanted because of his azz contusion and ankle injury. if ronnie was in the game i think he could've atleast chipped urlacher and aj could've just went down without an injury. but then gus wouldn't have came in and threw that 44 yard completion to chambers who adjusted to the ball nicely.

This is a silly thread. THe guy is tough.Anyone who could go though what he went through with last years line and can still come back is worthy enough. I'd like to see you get out there. It was the coaches that substituted him out. Feeley is tough enough to play this game. It's fine if you don't like him and want Gus to start, but don't say the guy is made of glass and thats why he shouldn't play.

I agree, AJ is tough.

Although, I am slowly creeping towards the GUS BUS, I support both QB's.

I just thought the phrase "A BROKEN A$$" was hilarious.

It's PRE-SEASON.

If a player gets a minor injury do you want him out there and aggrivate it worse? Feeley played through injury last year. To even QUESTION his toughness is just silly. It's not his fault the offensive line/runningbacks can't pick up blitzes yet.

Playing through an injury is tough, even the best QB's get injuries. If they are tough they do everything they can to play through them. If Feeley can get through this as he has in the past, he will prove to you nay-sayers that he is tough. But i'm not on either QB's bandwagon, i want the best QB to win the job. That's all.....We'll see who it is.

Right, I'll support whoever is QB but to say that AJ isn't tough is a load of crap. I just don't understand what people have against guys who are players on our team. Did AJ kill somebodies dog?:tank:
