The telephone connection was awful. If uncooperative cell towers weren’t enough, the elderly man on the other end was coping with heart problems. So for every word that passed through the phone lines unscathed, a handful did not.
Until this point.
“Why is it my grandson turned out like that?” the man said crisply. “One of the best kids I ever met. Hope he does good.”
The speaker was William McQueen. The subject was Knowshon Moreno, the newest Dolphin, whose journey to Miami could never be fully explained in several hundred words, or even a book, because it is barely grasped by those who know him best.

Very motivated he should be. I am excited about his opportunity with the fins. I am hopeful that he could be our RB for the next 3-4 solid years. Let's fix the Oline, Linebackers this year and get a running back in the next 1-2 years draft. If he helps keep Tannehill upright, and produces at a 60-70% rate of last year, I would sign him up for longer. Assuming that Miller is our home-run running back to compliment

Is it bad that I read this in yodas voice

Moreno most definitely improved our team, of that there is no doubt. However, I'm not getting overly excited as he had a VG year with the best O in the history of the NFL. How does everyone think he would have done in Miami last year?

About the same as miller fared. The run blocking was horrible. A 1-2 punch with Miller and Moreno is ideal. Let Moreno handle shotgun snaps. Miller the rest, just my opinion. Moreno is a superior receiver and blocker (which i know you disagree)

Based on what has been proven, although in a different situation, Moreno is the better runner and receiver. We'll get a better comparison this year with both playing under the same circumstance.

Moreno is VG in pass protect. All I have said is that he was not any better than Miller, although much better than Thomas.

Fair enough

I think Moreno and Miller will be a decent combo. Miller should play more fo a role on misdirection runs with a high potential for explosiveness. Moreno should be in on all obvious passing downs for help in pass pro, and additionally in short yardage scenarios. Im excited about the possibilities!
