this video was done before the SB & it goes over his upbringing & how he was able to use that as motivation to become successful. I was thrilled with the signing & have a while other respect for him now!

I remember watching this when it came out. I think he his definitely an upgrade over Miller and Thomas. Also, he's on a one-year, prove it deal so there really is no risk. Looking forward to what he can bring next season!

When he first moved to Jersey he was on the same youth football team as Donald Brown ( Uconn) But they went to different High Schools.

I couldn't help but contrast the difference in upbringing between Knowshon Moreno and Jonathan Martin. Martin's parents and grandparents were educated at Harvard. His father is a professor and mother a top corporate attorney. J-Mart went to the best private secondary school where he excelled academically and then onto Stanford and studied classics. His background is one of privilege.
Knowshon was raised in shelters in Harlem and struggled to get food to survive. At age 12 his grandmother took care of him and got him out of the shelters. Talent can be found anywhere - even in the dingiest places. For Knowshon to have overcome his obstacles and make it in the NFL and become a multimillionaire is a terrific achievement. He is a winner in life and the irony is that he's probably better mentally adjusted and a more decent person than J-mart.
