What is everyone's thoughts on drafting Corn to play the slot? His size might cause him to fall and he would be an enormous upgrade over McCain who was consistently burned last year.
 
If he's there in the 5th I grab him without hesitation. I love his toughness and technical ability as a nickel corner. I think he's got the potential to be bounced outside too.

Felt the same about Stacey Coley before Stills re-signed. It's too bad we wasted picks on Carroo.
 
Corn is a baller. Would love to have him on our team.
 
Yes, definitely. I see him going in the 3rd round range, hopefully to Miami with that comp pick.
 
Why is it that NFL players have some of the weirdest names? I saw that title and instantly pictured some dude sitting on a throne made of corn and presiding over a kingdom of scarecrows.
 
Lowball shocked he only ran 4.55 at the combine. Due to his overall lack of size and weight he could be around come round 5. Not sure if he is what we are looking for in a CB, even in the slot.

I get a Honey Badger vibe when I see his potential tho. Kid is a gamer.
 
That's a bad time for him. Always clocked under 4.5 at the U. (4.45 range) and we both remember him running down Delvin Cook.

Yea expecting an improved time at the UM pro day. But like u said, I know he has got plenty of speed in game.

He's a gamer and fearless in run support. Any team will be lucky to have him. Could see him making a move to FS

Not a great carry man coverage player...has excellent awareness and feel and tackles very well...but this isnt your in the wrs hip man cover nickel corner

Best facing the action in off and shows very well assignment accountability wise in zone..like the player in this class hes part of the best value position in the draft...nickel corner round 3

Problem for miami is round 5 is a long ways away...be some good nickel corner options plucked in round 4 even
 
Don't worry about Corn Elder's speed. There's straight line speed and then there's instincts, a nose for the ball and football fast. All Corn Elder does is win games for you in many different ways. The kid is heads up and since I live here in S. Florida I've been watching him for a long time. He'll block a field goal, he'll force a fumble, he'll make the pick in the 4th quarter that ices a ball game. We would be plenty smart to make sure this local product stays local. I like McCain more than most Finheaven posters but I like Elder much more, kid's a pure winner.

you think its only NFL ? a lot of parents in the US should be ashamed of themselves how they call their kids
