Corner the Biggest Need?

Yeah I could definitely see him finishing up as a safety when he loses a step. Maybe within the next 2 years.

His college tape he looked best and most comfortable when he was facing the action.

Agreed. I have always envisioned the “Charles Woodson path” for the backend of Ramsey’s career. This is why I was okay with giving him a new deal at age 29. Think he’ll have a seamless transition to safety once he loses a step.

That would easily be the worst starting safety combo in the NFL in addition to the fact that one of them is a part time player and the other is very injury prone.
Thats true but we are in worse shape at OG DT and DB which is why I think those are bigger needs.

I listed Safety as the most important of the lesser needs.

Thanks, Kebo. I'll take a look at Ransaw.

Guy has played cornerback and safety at 6 foot 200 pounds. If you want to see why I think he’s special then watch the cornerback drills at the combine. He can flip his hips and change direction with ease. He played at Troy and Tulane. Just wait until he gets some really good coaching in the NFL.

Though I believe Corner is one of the bigger needs (don't know about biggest yet), I would not go 1st round for a Corner, or even 2nd if possible. Hoping we can still get someone in FA.

If the season stated today, Kohou, Bonner or Smith might be Miami's starter opposite of Ramsey.

Of course, there's always a chance that a young player steps up. But that's a huge question at this point and a position that Grier values.

Free agency has just started, so maybe Grier makes another move but Miami has roughly $8 million in cap space.

So, maybe it means drafting a corner? Hunter is the top rated corner/wide receiver, but also mocked top 5 and sometimes even first overall. Johnson is probably the next off the board, possibly making it to Miami.

Barron is an older prospect, but likely a first rounder. Amos might be next, somewhere in round 2.
Guard, defensive tackle, offensive tackle, and corner I’d say. All four of those needs very high. We probably need at least two defensive tackles.
