The idea of facing Randy Moss and Terrell Owens two times apiece next season doesn't faze Dolphins rookie cornerback Sean Smith.
As the opening day of the team's three-day mini-camp for rookies and practice squad members came to a close, Smith allowed a long touchdown pass to practice squad receiver Anthony Armstrong, who is 26 and has never appeared in an NFL game.
Moments later, Smith had moved on.
"You have to believe in yourself and have a short memory," he said of playing cornerback.
Smith, the No. 61 pick last weekend out of Utah, proved his point discussing New England's Moss and Buffalo's Owens, who have combined for 274 touchdown catches in the NFL.
"I've thought about it," Smith said. "I'm going to be a little excited, but at the same time, I have to take him out.
"It's either me or him."
Believe it or not, Smith might not be the most confident cornerback in the Dolphins' rookie class. First-round pick Vontae Davis of Illinois isn't bashful, either.
