so i went to http://www.spotrac.com/cap-tracker/nfl/ and looked up 2015

this is where i need corrections ,if needed

can we cut ellerbe,hartline,wake those 3 contracts = near $27m and pay nothing in dead salary ??

also looking at wheeler we eat alot of his contract in 2015 aswell, maybe we cant cut him??

randy starks and finnegan as well another $10m saved, although we just gauranteed them some this year

gibson,garner and fields major savings as well !

although the op is a disaster...its a good topic, because if you look at some of these base salaries in 2015 with all things considered, there could be some serious turnover.

these are not hickey's guys. if they have average years they won't be back at those prices. who cares what the dead cap hit is, that's money already spent. you don't continue to pay players exorbitant amounts to avoid cap hits. they take a pay cut or you take the hit.
