Jordy Nelson... grab him with our 4th round pick and we're set with a slot guy, who could even be an eventual #2 receiver...think Mike Furrey, Wes Welker, Kevin Curis, Patrick Crayton perhaps?

very impressed with this guy

2nd most catches this year in DIVISION 1-A with 122 catches for 1606 yards and 13 TDs.. and one guy ahead of him is from a pass-happy spread offense (TTU)
____
Key Games...
@Auburn-9 catches, 90 yards
@Texas- 12 catches, 116 yards 1 TD, also 1 Punt return TD...first Punt return Texas gave up in 8 years!
Vs. Kansas- 10 catches, 137 yards ,1 TD- covered by 1st round talent Aqib Talib
@Oklahoma State-12 catches, 176 yards, 3 TDs
Vs. Missouri- 8 catches, 94 yards, 1 TD
and just for the wow factor
Vs. Missouri State-15 catches, 209 yards, 1 TD

he will probably go in the 3rd now. he is moving up the charts. i really like this WR too. he also finished 2nd to michael crabtree in the Biletnikoff Award.

yeah he is impressive the scouting report says he lack speed well speed only helps you on one kind of route and thats a streak route but he is great in the open field making people miss and looks very strong and would be another big receiver with good hands. But i agree with zach8111 he might be gone by the forth we might spend a 3rd but only if we pick up some extra picks. Someone i see in the 4th possibly is Donnie Avery out of Houston to be a slot guy he is smaller like Ginn and has big time speed but lack some strength and dosent do well against the jam but in the slot you dont get jammed much but if i was the GM and these two were in front of me i would take Nelson even though Avery has more speed and maybe more upside Nelson looks good in the open field and doesn't look afraid to go over the middle. he would be a nice addition and safety blanket for Beck

Oh not to mention Nelson faced much better talent and defenses in the conference he was in

Rule #1 on Finheaven when speaking about wide receivers.

If he's white, he will be the next Wes Welker. :lol:

He had a lot of heart, but never would have had near the success he had if he remained in Miami. He was a huge part of the run the Patsies had last year.

He looks big and tall too! just like wes welker... But seriously anybody knows how tall he is and how much he weighs? thanks

Honestly I'm Just Tired Of Everyone Talking About Welker Like He Was A Stud Wr Before We Traded Him.....mind U I Like Welker When He Was Here....
But When Is Everyone Going To Realize That He Was A Product Of The System In Ne.....if He Did Not Have Randy Moss Up There...he Wouldn't Have Had The Year He Had...and No One Down Here Would Be Crying...about Why We Traded Wes Welker....
The Trade Had To Be Made....
People That Argue Otherwise....about Welker Being That Talented..and Not Realizing Moss Had A Lot To Do W/ It.....to Me They Don't Know Anything About Football...
Everything Is Great In Hinsight...

he's 6'3" 217. kinda a big guy. i'm not really sure if i'd compare him to wes though, not at that size.

I wouldn't be to bothered if we took him w/ our 3rd round pick...
i'll tell you what i like about the kid....if you look at him play he never runs out of bounds...always trying to make something happen...to get more yards....thats a dying breed type of player....
and honestly you can never have too many good wr's ....we need all the playmakers we can get..

YOUR SPOT ON... I LIKED WELKER TOO, BUT THE TRADE WAS THE RIGHT THING FOR THE FINS TO DO.
