This is in response to the Q & A on Sun Sentinel, about how they were sayin Bosotn still hasn't regained his old form, and could have a tough time making the final cuts because Chambers, and Booker are locks, Thompson is considered the front runner for the 3rd WR, and Gilmore has the advantage over Boston because he plays special teams. While I can see the reasoning behind this, I still just CANNOT see Boston getting cut Again, I think the guy still has Unlimited Potential to dominate a game each and every week. What do you guys think???????

Well, according to Nasty, last night he looked really good.

I don't think he gets cut. He's the 4th reciever on the roster.

we need Boston b/c Thompson has proven over and over again hes not reliable.

Saban would be stupid to let Boston go. I would be ticked off to say the least!

Even seeing him listed as a 4th WR seems odd to me, I mean this is a guy who at one point absolutely DOMINATED the league, and last year when we aquired him, people on here where exstatic, saying that he might even beat out Chambers as the #1 WR, and were Damn Nearly Heartbroken when he went down. I know he's coming off a big injury, but still........

I wouldnt know. I hear conflicting reports between the blogs and board people. Boston has been slowed and is dragging his butt condition wise is what it sounds like to me. If the young kids like Davis and the other guy who made a splash last year (cant remember)and dont forget Welker, I could see Boston being gone very easily.

Just because he`s not getting alot of passes his way right now, shouldn`t diminish the fact that he`s recovered (100% or not) from his injury, and I think by the end of camp (which is a month away) he`s going to be making some noise with his onfield performance. Boston at 75% is better than Gilmore, Welker or DT.

I doubt if he gets cut but I wouldnt be surprised if he gets injured before the season.

worst case scenario boston is cut during the season and we bring on one of the kids we kept on practice squad. he's only making what? vet's minimum? the reward far out weighs the risk of keeping him which is a mere roster spot.

He sure looks smart now getting him for a cheaper cap number, right?

saban will not let boston go he likes play makers and boston is that plus more the guy demands double teams he is a beast......... :fire:

:rofl3: :rofl3: .. No way in hell does Boston get cut!!! Ricky is low on the depth chart that's because they both must strat from the bottom and work up!!!

It has nothing to do with anything except Saban laying down the law and making them start from the bottom up....Some of you ARE MAD you were wrong when you guarenteed DB would not be resigned......he WILL NOT be cut...and I will save this post along with many other sad one's...
