Could Bryce Petty Be Our #2 Qb?

At the very worst hes way ahead of Osweiler and slightly behind Fales? At best he gets more playing time in the 3rd and 4th preseason games and we keep him over Fales? Im really not sure at this point
 
We are waiting for guys to step up, that’s what preseason is all about. When the light come on, you go get some.
 
The thing with Petty is, he's got a great arm and he's a fiery competitor, so why was he available to be our camp arm QB? Well, because apparently he's pretty dumb.

That said, Gase is the QB whisperer, right? Get whispering. I actually think he's worth giving a shot as the #2. He won't get that shot, but if I were the coach, **** it, do it live.
 
Watch some Jets games with Petty at the helm, and you’ll see why he’s where he is. There’s a reason why he only plays the last 3 or 4 minutes of the 4th quarter.

Tannehill 18 of 23 132 yards 0 td 0 int

I would say the battle between Osweiler and Fales is closer than people think. I give the edge to Fales because he's had the better practices, but remember Osweiler also had a better showing in the scrimmage.

None of the three backups have looked ready to take snaps if Tannehill were to go down.
 
Here’s his career stats as a Jet. And you think he’s better than Osweiler or Fales?

Afraid QB is not even near the top of the list though still in question just how near the top it is....

Hint: if you need 4 yds, try throwing a 4yd + pass much the same 6 yds needed throw 6 + yd pass...atleast once and a while (Really not that complicated coach)
Penalties not really good. Even at critical points in the game. You might find the team has a bit more success without them,, really... ( think its something a HC can fix and it doesn't take years to do)... Thought you should know.....
Osweiler $720,000 dollar mistake try not to take a season to get it.
And Relax coach its only pre-season the hot seat comes in a few weeks...Oh forgot the Dolphins, few more years....
You know for the expertise and astonishing creativity you are showing I think that kneeling on the side line for you wouldn't hurt...Start after the anthem an stay there .......and thank the big head in the sky for aqua glasses and coolade of those really desperate fans willing to give you the benefit of doubt just for showing up and no ability to see the overall inefficiencies played out right before their eyes ( while actually having more good players)....
Well fans the good news and something to get excited about is it can't get much worse, although a bit less discipline and a bit more overlooking the basics and we can actually create possibly a few more penalties...
Sorry folks 60 years with this team and this is were its at self destructive to the core....unbelievable....

May just be me, but I would much rather make a $720,000 Osweiler mistake than a $10 million Cutler mistake. Would take the Osweiler option 10 times out of 10.

I don't know why we should always asumme if a player struggled with team A that he will also struggle with team B. Sure you consider that. but it's a mistake to think players can't improve or do a better job learning one offense with a coaching staff than they did learning another offense with another coaching staff. It's like thinking if a student failed one class than he's a lost cause and is expected to fail all other classes.
