Based on what we now know, Cog and Martin have been talking to each other with no animosity, and Cog wants to give Jon a hug. Players are supporting Cog, and don't appear to be hating on Martin. Ross and Philbin have reached out to Martin as well.

Cog is eligible to come off suspension in a couple of weeks, not sure on Martins status. Depending on what comes from the NFL investigation, is it possible that one or both could comeback to the team for a playoff run this year? Crazy thought.

I can see this as being an emotional boost to the team, and cannot see a negative impact if they both came back arm in arm. In the NFL, winning is the only thing. IF Ross and Philbin believe they would help the team do that, what would they do?

Could make for a VERY interesting decision.

I think that would be ideal, but how often have we been that lucky? Lucky, in that the NFL finds no issues at all with the two players? Also, if I'm Joe, the fact that Martin abandoned the team must be explained by Martin in a way that convinces me this was an aberration and is not likely to happen again. I'd prefer not to loose what I've invested in Martin, but I'd want assurance that Martin really wants to play and wants to learn how to be a better OL and reach his potential.

I think cogs makes it back to the team this year. Martin should stay away from football for a long time. Before this story broke most of us had issue with his tackle play

The answer is no. Cog can come off suspension right now, this is a team suspension not an NFL suspension. The team is forced to make a decision about him by the 4th game due to the CBA, and honestly if he is willing to return, I'd welcome Cog back to the team.

Martin is a tough situation only due to the fact that the swing of the media is in his corner and if Miami suspends him or places him on the non-injured list they face a PR onslaught. Martin deserves to be at the least suspended by the team along with Incognito. After all, one threat is as good as the other, right?

Neither of these guys can come back together and it is pretty clear that Martin doesn't want to be back, he would/should have come back after they suspended Incog but he didn't because he knows he is wrong. Incognito should be back but should/could be so pissed off at Miami he says **** off and makes them play their hand and release him.

The way I see it there is a 60% chance both are gone, 30% chance Incog comes back, 10% chance Martin is allowed back and 0% chance that both return.
