Just a random thought...but I can't help but see a difference in Tannehill in this Dallas preseason game.
Is it because he has more time to throw? Is it because the Dallas D is ****ty? Is it because we're finally calling some legit plays? (Seeing 3,4,5 eligible pass catchers running routes sure is pretty isnt it? Is it because he has control at the LOS for once?
But what if its more than that?
Are we seeing Gases' influence as the QB whisperer already?
And here is the last question...
Could Mannings mentorship have anything to do with this???

Look...we know Manning has made at least 2 visits (public) to the team. We know he had a lengthy discussion with Tannehill.
It is then very logical to assume that Manning/Tannehill exchanged contact information.
Have they really only talked that one or two times? I don't think so. Why?
#1 - Manning doesn't have **** to do but T.V. commercials...
#2 - For 18 years he lived/breathed pro football...in a way that VERY FEW can compare. This game means more to him than arguably any player in its history IMO...so I have to think that its HIGHLY likely that he wants to contribute in some capacity somewhere...his public visits caused a lot of attention...and so I have no doubt that if Gase wants Manning to tutor Tanne...its now being done more discreetly.
#3 - Manning/Gase's relationship cannot be underestimated...They have un-finished business....can you imagine the let-down those 2 experienced after that Superbowl? That kind of ultimate defeat...after having the most incredible seasons of their careers, is something that builds a BOND FOR LIFE...and so if there is anyone that Manning wants to see succeed and help out - I think Gase would be at the top of the list.
#4 - I think Manning has a great deal of respect for RT's intelligence. I think they would get along very well. I think its natural for ever "master" to seek to PASS ON what they have learned...

I would imagine (this is just how the world works guys) that Manning even has our playbook. I would imagine that he is watching our tape and offering notes to Tannehill on the regular.
This is just my opinion...but when I watch Tannehill in that last pre-season game I see a different person and I have to attribute it to Gase/Mannings influence.
