Bill Belichik bombed out in Cleveland, and then came back and is a stud coach in New England. Could we be witnessing the same evolution in Saban ? Will he have to get fired as the Dolphins coach and come back somewhere else to be successful ?

what happend to everyone calling him a god?Alll the sudden 4 games into the season hes a bum? Whats up with that?

Saban hasnt gone anywhere yet. And wont soon.

Saban has rebuilt more than one college program and even won a national championship. Belichick did not have that pedigree going into Cleveland. As for Spurrier comparisons. Spurrrier was arrogant in that he belived his O could fly in the NFL. There were a lot of rumors Spurrier did not put in the hours where it counted.

Saban is a classy coach who works endlessly and is respected universally. HIs team is struggling right now, big deal. Like four games is supposed to wipe out a lifetime of success. :shakeno:

Belichick isn't really a good analogy. A better comparison is Dennis Erickson. Both were highly successful college coaches whose style, personality, and methods didn't translate to the professional game.
