Well this is my first thread and like the rest of the Dolphin Nation I'm excited about this draft but sitting at the 9th pick it could go either way I would love it if Brady Quinn fell to 9th or even if we traded up to 6th but if he is off the board and the draft went down like this then what???

1. Oak - J. Russell
2. Det - G. Adams
3. Cle - B. Quinn
4. TB - C. Johnson
5. Ari - J. Thomas
6. Was - L. Laundry
7. Minn - A. Peterson
8. Atl - L. Brown
9. Mia - ???

My suggestion would be the best player available and that player is Patrick Willis. I know we are set at linebacker with Thomas, Crowder, Porter, and Taylor if you want to label him as one but 3 out of the 4 are all 30 years of age or older and if we can't trade out of 9 at this point then we have to make this pick. He is a beast and is amazingly fast plus he would be the heir apparent for when Zach hangs them up also being that most mocks have the Bills taking him which would mess up their draft board. If you draft in the top 10 you can not REACH on players you have to get impact personnel even if that player has to wait a year to start. Thats my opinion so if the draft unfolds like this who do you take???

The pick could be Okoye then, or a CB, or WR for that matter.

At that point, I think we would be in massive trade-down mode and would target Joe Staley or maybe even Ginn. As scary as that scenario is, I think it is plausible.

agreed with the exception of possibly drafting okoye.

Under this scenario, my bet is on Leon Hall, CB from Michigan, and yes, it's a worst case one.

I don't think the 6th pick will be LAUNDRY.

#9 would be Ginn Jr.

NO.

Sorry, but the scenario is extremely unrealistic. NO WAY CJ falls to 4 to begin with.

If all those guys are gone by some other means...I would see us either going Okoye, or trading down.
I love Pat- WIllis, and getting him instead of FLuffablo is a nice thought, but unrealistic, and not practical...

IMO of course....

ALSO, Laundry wont go 6th, but could easily be 4, 5, 7 or 8...if not WE BETTER GET HIM:tantrum:
