Since we most likely will cut Porter, Wilson, Akin and possible few more cause of contracts does this mean we will have more money to spend on free agents....

It could mean that...... or it could mean nothing, especially since none of the cuts have even happened yet. If you're asking for opinions though I really have no idea if they'll spend big in free agency but if I Had to guess I'd say they might try hard to sign one big named player but that's about it.

I see I was thinkin like signing Wilfork and Dansby and trading for a big reciever but doubt all that will happen

There is no cap, so no it does not mean we will have much more money. Even if/when we cut Porter, we are still going to have to pay him for the guaranteed money we owe him. We just don't have to worry about it being dead cap this year. It is much easier to cut some of these contracts because there is no salary cap money.

The team really won't get anything back financially by cutting them. I personally don't see Akin getting cut even though they do owe him a roster bonus in April. We are definitely going to target inside linebackers in the draft, but there won't be much on the free agent market so it probably is not wise to get rid of him. He really hasn't been that bad of a player for us. I see Porter and Wilson being the two big names that get cut/traded. Wilson is definitely gone if Arizona cuts Rolle since I think he would be on the first plane to Miami.

Sadly, Wilfork will probably be franchised and Dansby will probably get a monster Haynesworth type deal this front office won't want to dish out. Who would blame them though?

I really do think we will be making a trade for Anquan Boldin. With the price tag dropped, I see the Dolphins having no hesitation sending a 4th or 3rd round pick for him. Yes, he is probably on the downside of his career, but he is still likely going to be a 1,000 yard receiver for the next few years. He is a perfect match for Henne.

it could be since theres no cap hit this year i think well trade for Bolden and Dansby prob in a package deal sending away Porter Ginn Wilson and some draft picks

if we ended up getting Wilfork and Dansby i would be very happy with the start of our offseason and then draft Dez Bryant and Nate allen i think we would be a very good team next season

I dont see us trading picks for players unless its a 6th or 7th rounder so I expect 2 big name signings...the only thing that worries me is our FA signings generally havnt been very good.

I really doubt that he gets that type of deal yea he is good but he isnt that good

I agree.I think anything less than a 2nd,the FO would be willing and able.Anquan seems to have a minimum of 3 years left in him,and at least one more Pro Bowl year in there somewhere.Lets not forget he had over 1,300 yards, and over 100 catches since before Fitz was evem there,so hes definately est. he doesnt need a big name WR beside him.

And to your point,Henne just needs someone to depend on,til he learns how to make what he has better, kinda like Peyton and Drew, and he'll get there.....so long as we provide him with some talent.....

A big if, but IF the Dolphins were to get Dansby and Rolle, I would not be surprised if they go Dez Bryant, Sean Witherspoon or Brandon Graham at #12. If this happens and they pass on Bryant or he is not available, I wouldn't be surprised to see them go after Brandon LaFell in the second round.

I am really curious to see how Cam Thomas ranks after the combine. I would love to get him but I don't think he will fall as far as our pick in the third round.
