Since we most likely will cut Porter, Wilson, Akin and possible few more cause of contracts does this mean we will have more money to spend on free agents....
There is no cap, so no it does not mean we will have much more money. Even if/when we cut Porter, we are still going to have to pay him for the guaranteed money we owe him. We just don't have to worry about it being dead cap this year. It is much easier to cut some of these contracts because there is no salary cap money.Since we most likely will cut Porter, Wilson, Akin and possible few more cause of contracts does this mean we will have more money to spend on free agents....
Sadly, Wilfork will probably be franchised and Dansby will probably get a monster Haynesworth type deal this front office won't want to dish out. Who would blame them though?I see I was thinkin like signing Wilfork and Dansby and trading for a big reciever but doubt all that will happen
if we ended up getting Wilfork and Dansby i would be very happy with the start of our offseason and then draft Dez Bryant and Nate allen i think we would be a very good team next seasonI see I was thinkin like signing Wilfork and Dansby and trading for a big reciever but doubt all that will happen
I really doubt that he gets that type of deal yea he is good but he isnt that goodSadly, Wilfork will probably be franchised and Dansby will probably get a monster Haynesworth type deal this front office won't want to dish out. Who would blame them though?
I really do think we will be making a trade for Anquan Boldin. With the price tag dropped, I see the Dolphins having no hesitation sending a 4th or 3rd round pick for him. Yes, he is probably on the downside of his career, but he is still likely going to be a 1,000 yard receiver for the next few years. He is a perfect match for Henne.
I agree.I think anything less than a 2nd,the FO would be willing and able.Anquan seems to have a minimum of 3 years left in him,and at least one more Pro Bowl year in there somewhere.Lets not forget he had over 1,300 yards, and over 100 catches since before Fitz was evem there,so hes definately est. he doesnt need a big name WR beside him.Sadly, Wilfork will probably be franchised and Dansby will probably get a monster Haynesworth type deal this front office won't want to dish out.
