:dolphins: What were the games that we could've, would've, should've won? Thought this would be an interesting topic to talk about. Now I know most of you are going to say all of them, so don't. Be specific and please don't say all of them.:dolphins:

Sept 18 @ NY Jets Lost 7-17 Lost 7-17

Oct 9 @ Buffalo Lost 14-20

Oct 16 @ Tampa Bay Lost 13-27

Oct 21 Kansas City Lost 20-30

Nov 6 Atlanta Lost 10-17

Nov 13 New England Lost 16-23

Nov 20 @ Cleveland Lost 0-22

The Falcons and Patriot games come to mind only because both of those games we're lost by dumb mistakes. The Falcons game could have went the completely opposite direction had we just run the ball instead of trying to force it in by passing it when Gus got picked off. Chambers dropped that pass on 4th down when the game was on the line so that was a game that could have been won.

You forgot the Bills game with Ronnie's fumble. If we win 2/3, or even just the Pats game, we would be in great position.

Biggest in my mind is the Buffalo game. Driving and Ronnie 'fumbling' inside the 20. :shakeno:

what about the KC game? we could've won or at least came back if priest hadn't scored on the one big play we let slip.

the jets game in week 2 we should of won. Ithink it was 3rd and 13 jets on their 10 yard line. About 7 min to play down 7. pennington to coles, complete. first down. gotta stop teams on the 3rd downs!

And of course the painful losses

atl,buf,ne

im just happy we got a couple close games.

This one was my choice also. We should've had Buffalo swept this season, but it's could've, would've, should've, as the thread's title says. I say we do it next season, though. There's NO signs of a turnaround in Buffalo any time soon. We should be vastly improved again, while the Bills improve very slightly if at all.

man i say the NE, NY, BUF, ATL, and KC game where in our reach

BUF, ATL and NE,,,,,,definitely should have won those. :(

Everyone seems to be focusing on the final plays that went badly... The drop by CC for the TD that would have TIED the score... The INT with the NE game... A TD would have tied that score as well... RONNIE's Fumble against the BILLS was the 1 exception, we would have been in scoring range for the win!

The mistakes were made earlier when we had the chances to change the games. The penalties in those games is what really hurt us... Not 1 play by RONNIE or CC or MCMICHAEL or GUS... 1 PLAY at the end of a game... to win, tie or lose is not where the game was won or lost...

The deciding factor was the penalties with holding, false starts, pass interference, giving the opponent the ability to move the ball and score a FG or a TD instead of holding on 3rd and long... or us being in range for FG and a penalty takes us out of range... 1st and goal at the 8 and 2 false starts make it 1st and 18 and then throw an INT!!! Because we end up having to pass to make up yardage...

Plenty of blame to go around, but the bottom line is that there was NO 1 PLAY at the end of those games that cost us the win...

Just a thought...

What about the games we won that we could have lost?
The Bills game 2 weeks ago.
The Panthers game.
Good thing we played Denver week 1 in Miami and not week 17 at Mile High.
The Phins could easily be 4-9 as well as 6-7 or 8-5.
If you look at any NFL team's schedule, you see wins that should have been losses and vice versa.
It usually evens itself out.
