I found this video on Yahoo Sports and it could make some sense.
If we Due trade this to Atlanta for there 3rd pick and others, it still does not stop us from trading the 3rd pick to Dallas, so they can get Mcfadden and we stock up on picks or use some for trades (Fitz,Hall,R.Williams) I know it is all rumors now but I like the sound of it.

I would trade with Atlanta for their 1(3) 2(48) and D.Hall if that's not asking too much. I also would ship JT to Jacksonville for either their 2nd and 4th or their two 3rd's and 4th. Baring any trade for players (i.e. L.F or R.Williams) we could sit and load up with players or trade back into the 1st for someone we'd love to grab (B.Albert/K.Phillips/D.Conner).

I like our options. It helps having the #1 pick and Bill Parcels pulling the trigger.

I would like very much to pull off an atlanta trade. but its getting to the point now where we have enough draft picks that i'd almost start trading for proven players (provided that they are young). I feel like asking for their 2 and Hall on top of the #3 pick may be too much, and if we had to give way on one of those, i'd take a later pick over losing out on a proven player like hall. Regardless, if we pull a trade of any sort, i would be elated. (along with the rest of finheaven as well i'm sure)

I would only be ok with a trade scenario that doesn't have us missing out on drafting Chris Long. Initially I was very skeptical about drafting this kid. But the more video I see of him and especially with the way he performed at the combine, I think we have to get him. Aside from that a trade with Atlanta would be great. But asking for their 1(3), 2(48) and D. Hall is asking a bit much. He is a top 5 corner after all. And very young (24 or 25 I believe).

Boy... if we wanted to de-class up the joint... we could have Hall and Pacman in the same secondary.... and throw in a Chris Long, also. Talk about upgrading the defense in a hurry.

Of course, we'd have to build a Police Station next to the stadium to keep 'em in line.

But, hey.... Just Win Baby! Ooops... this isn't the Raiders!

I agree with that. I really only want to do the trade with Atlanta if it doesn't cost us Chris in the process. I too used to be very wary of taking him # 1, but after watching him play a little more in depth and watching him workout at the Combine, I feel he would be a great asset to out team. I would also love to have Vernon Gholston, so losing out on Chris Long is not such a HUGE deal to me. My dream scenario for Draft Day is to trade 1 to Atlanta for 3 and one of their 2nd rounders, have ATL draft Ryan, and STL to draft Jake Long, so we are left at 3 with our choice of either Vernon Gholston or Chris Long. And I would be extremely happy with either!

Disclaimer: this is a fairy tale...

But... imagine if we traded for Atlanta's #3 pick and Second rounder, and maybe a 3rd next year or something.... They take Ryan

Then Trade that pick to Dallas for #22 and #28 (or whatever they are) Plus Carpenter or Spears and a 3rd and maybe a 2nd next year or something. They take Mcfad.

Then if we got the JT and Vikings/Jags trade to go through and got a 2nd and a 3rd for him.

We could possibly have 10 picks between #22 overall and our first pick in round 4... how friggen nuts would that be?!

#22 (fr Dal)
#28 (fr Dal)
#32 (our 2a)
#48 (fr Atl)
#57 (our 2b)
#58 (fr Jax)
#64 (our 3)
#89 (fr Jax)
#93 (fr Dal)
#97 (our 4)

PLUS Carpenter or Spears and atleast 1 pick next year, and probably a pick or two late... I really like Long, Long, and Gholston, but we could field a whole new offense or defense by round 4!

What I LOVE about this draft is our options... because even if something like the above did happen, we'd have TONS of picks to move up if we wanted and take risks here or there, or even trade for someone like Fitz.

Like I said, complete fairytale, but fun to think about our options.
