Cowboys wanting Pitts?

Grant shouldn't even make it thru TC......his whole career has been all hype and no production
As a receiver I agree! But as a special teams guy. He gives you those yards and is generally good for at least 1-2 TDs from that unit.

I hear that a lot... but 1-2 isn't really that many.

I'm guessing that Joe Offthestreet would give you one per year.

That's alot. How many teams around the league do you think return 1-2 a season?
Also, Let's not dismiss that field position stuff as well.

Those hidden yards are part of the game and like it or not Grant is one of the best in the league.

Most return guys have some value outside of the return team, Jakeem doesn't.

Most return guys don't make 3.6M in salary with another 500K available in game play incentives, Jakeem does.

He's my first cut.

I think someone like Allen Hurns and even Albert Wilson makes more than he do.
I'd look to cut those guys first starting with Hurns.
I absolutely never understood that extension to that guy.

They may go too. It isn't one or the other...

But of the three, we get the most relief from cutting Grant, and have the least dead cap.

he makes almost 5 mill a year. That's way too much money for one or two plays a year. I'd trade him if possible but if no takers are there I'd give that spot to a player that can do more than him.

And continue to lose 48-46 with no defense. Jerry Jones still doesn't get it.
They have been a far more competitive team than us the last 20 years.

And have drafted more pro bowlers than any other team in that span.

His mistake has been coaching decisions - not talent acquisition.

Apples and Oranges.

Pitts would be an excellent pick up for them.

It's unfortunate! Grant had the best possible opportunity with so much guys going down to prove he belongs as a reciever. He didn't prove he does.

Cowboys taking Pitts would truly cement them as a complete trash can organization.
They may have had one of the worst Defenses Ive ever seen in my 30 years of watching football and they draft Offense.

I honestly believe Grier want Devonta Smith

Pro bowlers lol.

This isn't a thread comparing us to them. Jerry cares about splash signings which is why they will never win anything again. Their defense was pathetic last year and they need players and he wants Pitts??
