Cowherd Podcast Riddick defends Tua

Cowherd makes me sick sometimes especially when he talks about Tua, Riddick had to remind him that hey, the kid has no Oline, no Running game and an abysmal WR unit.....but he is still winning games. Cowherd then talks about the coaching staff not asking Tua to do to much, but he phrases it as if Tua is incapable of doing more, not for the reasons mentioned before. We live in a microwave society and sometimes it sucks, if you want these kids coming out of college young, you have to develop them, and that takes time, not every QB will be Payton Manning ready from day one and even he had to learn to be a NFL QB. Fans called for Flores, Grier, Tua and Ross to be replaced because the rebuild hit a snag, and this was after winning 10 games last season, something we had no business doing, we just have to be patient and let the process play out.

Cowturd was totally corrected and educated when he tried to badmouth Tua to Channing Crowder who from a first hand observation knows better. Colon did not expect such a spirited disagreement.

If by now he doesn't know better he's either a dumba$$ or trolling for the proverbial "clicks!"

Pretty sure Cowherd is a member here. I believe his avatar is a pic of Marino at Pitt 😀

...shouldn't have had Taco Bell...

IMO they are asking Tua to do a lot. He's carrying the offense. He has to be both the passing game and an extension of the run game. He has to compensate for the OL blocking deficiencies by getting the ball out quick and/or running around. He has to be hyper-accurate to compensate for a receiving core that leads the NFL in drops. He has to run PRO offense (instead of an RPO offense) b/c the RBs struggle to get over 3.0 ypc on any given game.
