They have a trade scenario up where we trade the #1 to Atl for their 1,2,&3.

So the mock has us with.......

1 J. Long
2 P. Sims
2 B. Brohm
2 E. Bennett
3 J. Carlson
3 B. Flowers
4 B. Bell

Crazy, but that would be great to have 7 picks in the first 97 selections.

I doubt that would happen considering Atlanta needs to fill as many holes as we do. If they are dumb enough to do it I'd be happy with that trade!

I seem to be the only person that reeeally doesn't want Jake Long. Did anyone see how badly Gholston schooled Jake Long in the OSU-Michigan game?

Either way, if we use the value chart (which I know is possibly obsolete), this is one of the only trades that comes out fair. Atlanta's three picks equal 3005 points, and the #1 pick is worth 3000.

It's even more insane when you consider that this scenario is possible and that with this scenario, the Dallas trade also becomes possible, which would then give us a total of 2 #1's, 4 2nd's and 2 3rd rounders.

I have been reading more lately that Atlanta may not take Matt Ryan with the 3rd pick. They have a lot of needs and QB isnt really going to help them much next year anyway. Plus they could trade back down and pick up a good QB without spending a fortune.

You consider giving up 1 sack, 1 of his 2 sacks in his 4 years in college "getting schooled" I did see Gholston "get schooled" in his championship game this year though.

He gave up one of his 2 career sacks to a eventual top ten pick in the draft. Yea you're right he isn't any good.

How bad would it be if the Jets or Pats grab Gholston at 6 or 7 after we take Jake Long at 1 and he endures a career of getting destroyed by this guy twice a year for 8 -10 years?
