Crazy QB Scenario

I just doubt the GM/Front Office/New coaching staff is going to have the patience to try and work Henne back into their plans. It is not like Henne was just given a handful of games to show what he can and can't do.....Henne has played 35 games over four years and he is what he is...not the worse QB around but far from the best. I am not sure he would get much better even if we got better players on offense? My hope is that we sign Flynn and make him our starter...Moore can be the backup, and we can draft a QB to groom for the fututre. That probably leaves Henne as the odd man out.

At one time, I too was a Henne supporter. BUT...the bottom line is that Moore clearly outplayed Henne and we have Moore signed for another year at a cheap rate. Henne will be a decent back-up QB in the league, but Moore is a better back-up QB and a servicable starter if need be. Moore at this point, is far more valuable to the Dolphins than Henne. Plus, if we look to trade Moore what we would get in return in terms of a draft pick, would not be worth his current value to our team.

Sorry...but if I'm the Phins I keep Moore and don't even waste my time talking to Henne about a new contract.
I don't think Moore outplayed Henne.

The main thing about them is the rest of our team just wasn't ready for this season.

Our starting CB got crabs in the 3rd quarter of 1st & 2nd games, while Our O-line was out of synchrony, and Chad even with no time to throw, found his receivers who dropped the ball on the end-zone.

Moore got help from his running backs, while Henne got injured trying to move the chains by himself.
