Assuming the reports and medical clearance for Tannehill are true and accurate, could we consider a double-headed QB approach going into the playoffs? We've seen so many ways these resilient Dolphins have found to win, why not play the hot hand? In most cases this wouldn't work, but both Matt and Ryan as well as the entire team seems to have a win first, team first mentality. Gase would be one of those few coaches who could pull it off. If nothing else it makes the other team prepare for both QB's.

I can't think of any advantage to doing that. In the Woodstrock era there were clearly things that Stock could do (like complete a pass) that Woodley couldn't and Woodley was clearly more mobile. Unless Tannehill has some limitation I can't think of how this would give us any advantage.

I have to agree. Don't see the advantage there. If anything you bring Tannehill in for read option packages, but then considering he'd be coming off a knee injury he'd probably be limited. Gase has made two things clear. Ryan Tannehill is the starting QB. And he will not rush Ryan back. So unless we go deep into the playoffs I don't expect to see Ryan play this year. If we made the Super Bowl I see Ryan starting.

Makes sense. Just a crazy thought as watch Pittsburgh and Baltimore beat each other up.

It is nice to be sitting where we are this late in the season. We are playoff bound!!! I know it's premature, but the percentages are in our favor.

Nice problem to be even concerned with 5th vs. getting in and if we even have a possibility of a choice at QB.
