Ready to break through: Randy McMichael
You can get some indication of the type of numbers McMichael will have this season under Scott Linehan, the Miami Dolphins' new offensive coordinator, by looking at the numbers of Minnesota's tight ends the last couple of years. They've all been productive under Linehan, but none of them are near the talent level of McMichael. That's why I'm saying McMichael will go into the stratosphere. Given Miami's system and the ability of quarterback Gus Frerotte, he could put up numbers like Gonzalez or Antonio Gates – and that should propel him to the Pro Bowl level.

McMichael has the talent. He just needs someone to throw him the ball.

Anything on his suspension? Is he going to be suspended?

I saw this article myself...was going to post it if no one else had. He thinks McMichael is a lock for 1000 recieving yards this season. I'm not convinced myself, but I think he could come really close to it.

I think Chambers is in the same situation. Both are really talented players that have suffered from the Wanny regime. They will both have good seasons imo.

it's good to hear a commentator having something positive to say about a Phin. And I think he's right....one worry though......

....as NYinBostonFin mentioned, I'm worried about his possiblity of a suspension. I mean, that's the second incident in less 12 months I believe. While they both dropped the charges on the 1s one (they were both taken into custody as she was also abusing him) this time there were witnesses in a public place. I think it's highly possible we could be missing him for a couple games sometime during the season, even if it's not right at the beginning.

Now, I haven't heard anymoe since the incident happened in the parking lot of, what was it IHOP or something, but that doesn't mean it's gone away. If he'd just divorce the crazy witch his life might be a little simpler. In addition to his lawyer, agent, and Saban, I think his teamate really need to help convince him of this. That type of thing is hard to do and it's easier when you've got friends and\or close teammates backing you up.

come on. tell me you dont laugh when someone says the phrase, "dolphins QB Gus ferrotte". :rofl3: thats just funny as hell.

but its good to hear that from a former player of that system. but Gus  is no cullpepper.

I hope so, drafted him on my fantasy team! :D

I remember reading that his hearings and stuff could be postponed until the end of the regular season. The judge said somehting about postponements for work issues being a common occurence and he didn't see this situation as any different.

No he isn't, but he responded in a good way in that system when Culpepper went down last year.

Ya... does anyone officially know his status in terms of a suspension? I am really thinkin about drafting him in fantasy football, but dont wanna if he is gunna be missing games...

Nasty

I think you should be worried about your own QB. What exactly has Losman done?

Well he hasn't hurt himself bashing his head into a wall celebrating a TD.
