I just went on a Patsfans.com and a lot of their fans think that Light will get a one game suspension. I still can't believe the way he was trying to fight. He was slapping Crowder and pulling his hair!!! What a tough guy! What a jerk. Anyway, if he is suspended, it can affect the happy pass offence of the Patriots. If we win next week and a NE loss, we'll have the tie braker over them. Light had a big smile yesterday but it could be costly for them. To me Light is their best OL and I don't think they could afford to loose him against Pitt.

I don't know what was girlier, Light pulling the hair or Channing running away.

I mean, if you're gonna get ejected, at least get in a good shot.

Did you see Crowder laughing when Light was done hitting him. You think a guy that big would be able to at least throw a punch and have it hurt a little bit. hahaha

I tell u one thing . . .that may be atleast a $50,000 run away . . . plus money lost from suspension . . . as he may not get suspended for throwing back blows.

May have looked girly, but it was very smart.

I disagree. I think he ran away so as to not get in trouble, unfortunately he still get ejected. I still don't understand why Crowder got ejected to begin with. When they showed the footage on TV last night, i didn't see him do anything to Light that would warrant an ejection. To those who saw the game on TV, did he do anything to Light?

The one thing i did see from my seat was Crowder talking trash & wanting to fight Light as they were escorted into the locker rooms.

nah, Crowder didnt do ANYTHING...Light like was pushin him down and stuff and Crowder got back up and pushed him back and then Light grabs his hair and starts punchin him in the back of the head. He shouldnt have ever been ejected...Light should be fined alot of money and suspended a couple of games. You get fined for talkin back to an official they should really dig deep into Lights pockets.

Heres a clip for you:

he didn't do anything. he got up under Light and Light didn't like it. Everything happened after the play. There was no reason to throw punches.

Although I would have loved to see Channing get in one good shot, I don't think he was being girlie, he was being smart. When a 300 + Lb man, who is wearing a helmet, pulls off your helmet and gets hold of your dreads, you definitely get the F... away. Besides, Light wouldn't even enter the tunnel without putting his helmet back on.

People accusing Channing "I didn't know they spoke English in London" Crowder of being smart?

Haha!! Nah, of course, you guys are right, he didn't throw a punch and didn't deserve to be ejected. Walking (or running) away from that was definitely the right thing to do. I would have just loved for him to have put light on his *** with a square job to the chin.

Channing did the right thing by just walking away. If he throws a punch back then he gets a huge fine and suspension.

I thought of that quote myself but I've always dismissed it as being a joke. A lot of people, however, weren't so sure and they probably know a lot more than I doubt about Channing Crowder.

He did the right thing getting out of it but it looked like he got just a second or two's retaliation in on Light before he made the choice to leave it. I thought it was a bit harsh to kick him out of the game. I mean, a huge man was shoving his face into the ground then removed his helmet and started hitting him in the head. All Crowder did was push a little and maybe throw a punch or two (if even that). It's tough to imagine he wouldn't want to defend himself when he's being attacked.

Light
came across as a complete and utter twat throughout the whole incident. Prior to the ejection, I thought Crowder had made a couple of decent plays. He seemed to be playing better than the majority of defensive players.

wrong.

When the commisioner reviews the tape and calls them both in to talk about it, Crowder will at least be able to say,"See, I was trying to avoid any fight and I never threw a punch". He has something to defend himself with and could go from possible suspension to just being fined.
