Is Jacobs going in the 2nd sound unrealistic?
I like Croyle in the 2nd for us.
Something about Jacobs size and health may be a good thing as well. With the beatings these guys take, it may be to our benefit to draft someone that could stay healthy. What do you guys think?

jacobs. i think our coaching staff is good enough to coach him up right. croyle doesn't really have much upside. i doubt he'll be anything special. jacobs has the chance to be.

Jacobs COULD slip into the late second round but I see him more as a third rounder

Id be happy with either guy, I really like them both, but in the second round Id have to say Croyle because he has more value at that spot

Croyle= Starting QB in a couple of years
Jacobs= Still a clipboard holder for several years.

Jacobs is probably the toughest player to get an accurate beat on in the entire draft. Kiper had it right when he said the most challenging player for him to value in the entire draft is going to be Jacobs. He's got such fantastic size, arm strength, accuracy, foot speed, and production. Yet, something is...off...about him.

That's what they said about Montana. Not very tall, average arm. He was drafted in the 3rd rd I believe. The rest is history

 did you just compare Brodie Croyle to Joe Montana

Croyle has a pretty good arm, and his size is a little small, but to compare him that way is just....odd

As a Bama alum,I've watched this kid all four years.
The fact is ,if he weighed 15 more pounds(which he can gain)and doesn't have the knee injuries, and also played with recievers and offensive line like say,USC ,Brodie's
a 1st rounder.

It's called decision making....it can't be coached.
A system has to be made to protect against it..
like say Bowling Greens

Decision making can most definitely be coached.

It might be me,but reading defenses and making the
right read are God given talents. The best just have
to adapt to the speed of the pro game.

How about none of them. take O-line and DB first two rounds, then take Drew Olson of UCLA in the third. He impressed the Dolphins in Miami last week
