I just saw a thread which has sence been deleted that called Cuban the devil.

Well it made me think, I would love to have that guy own a team I'm a fan of, he wants to win, will pay to win, speaks his mind to anyone, and is always fan friendly.

Your thoughts?

The guy is one of the best owners in the NBA, if I had his money I'd be just as eccentric. So he whines alot, he's got the right. If those calls had gone the other way, we'd have been whining just as badly, if not worse.

Yep, I feel he is one of those owners (george like) that you hate because he makes his team better while your team sucks!

So people hate him, but they would be doing the happy dance if he owned there team.

I can't stand him. Oversized ego. Oversized man breasts. He should do more owning and less dramatizing, just my opinion. I really don't see how he's "good for the game" like all the talking heads say.

i think he is good for a team but i rather have an owner that not as hands on....

What the NBA really needs is for Mark Cuban to replace David "Wet Noodle" Stern as the NBA's Commissioner. Stern is too stiff......Cuban would bring some fun back to the NBA.

Well, he'd probably bring the people and the players together......in the Detroit/Indiana sense.

Bottom line is Mark Cuban made Dallas relevant. He did more than any fan could have asked to entice FA's to sign with Dallas. They were an after thought of the NBA before Cuban, now they're elite.
I can't see a strong argument for not wanting Cuban to own your team, unless it already has an amazing owner (which most teams do not).

I think he's a great owner. He's fan friendly, worked at dairy queen for a day and is open to basically any media. Mark Cuban is a huge fan of the league and he wants his team to win and will do anything possible to do that, why wouldn't people want him to own a team?

I like cuban. hes a bit of a tool but he built a winner from squat and he puts his money where his mouth is. Very good owner. Maybe meddle too much but its better to have an owner slightly too involved then 1 that doesnt give a ---- at all.

I'm actually hoping that if and when Los Angeles gets a NFL expansion franchise Mark Cuban is involved with the ownership.

Would love him if I was a player, or fan of his team; would tolerate him as an opposing fan or owner; would hate him if I was commish (or ref).
